Cardiac and skeletal muscle fulfil many crucial functions in the body, including maintaining the blood circulation, breathing or movement. We investigate muscle development, signaling and maintenance, and decipher molecular mechanisms that play a role in the development of cardiomyopathies and neuromuscular disorders.
