Abstract

This Special Issue contributes to ongoing discourses on decolonisation and pluriversality in design. It offers critical theoretical and methodological reflections on the position of participatory design, co-design, and design research, as well as rich empirical cases from diverse global contexts, to advance decolonising design practices towards pluriversality. In addition, contributions address core aspects of digital emerging technologies connected to the contemporary challenges of decolonisation.
