Research output: Contribution to conferencePosterResearchpeer-review

Abstract

Animal welfare is a high priority amongst European citizens and essential for a sustainable agricultural system and yet, the European Commission has identified that a lack of enforcement of animal welfare legislation is one of the main challenges facing animal welfare. This poster presented research conducted in 2022 with animal welfare inspectors, where I studied the challenges they face in their work as veterinary inspectors on farm and at slaughter.
