Abstract

This report presents research into production and distribution practices of popular cultural crime narratives across the European continent. Considering a range of territorial contexts, the report evaluates modes of production, translation, distribution and identity constructions through crime narratives. One the one hand, the report shows an increasing international awareness of collaboration from producers, broadcasters, publishers and commissioners. On the other hand, it is obvious from research that a shared idea of European identity is not conventional in creative industries.
