Abstract
Acquiring the skills and competencies to design technology for social-ecological values will be crucial for future generations of design practitioners striving to achieve sustainable development. This position paper is based on a project proposal that aims to provide teachers in higher education with innovative educational resources to teach students reflective data practices for sustainable technology design with, through and by data. We contribute to the workshop by asking WHAT we should teach students to gain reflective data practices for sustainable technology design, and HOW do we achieve that?
