Nonhuman Politics and its Practices

Research output: Contribution to book/anthology/report/proceedingBook chapterResearchpeer-review

This contribution engages with the question of politics and political practice in a broadly considered posthumanist framework. Various recent posthumanist contributions place politics at the centre of their interests. However, the question of political practice has been rarely addressed. As posthumanism is both a multifarious and a vigorously developing field, this chapter aims at generating discussion about the practical potential of politics in a posthumanist framework. It will critically engage with selected attempts at conceptualizing politics with nonhumans and propose one way to think about political practice in this context.
