    Abstract

The argument is that a theory on the psychologic of religion must include at least the four dimensions of biology, the psyche, culture and society. The criticism raised against Jan Tønnesvang's article is that it only deals with the psyche. This is critically addressed, and the article ends by asking whether Tønnesvang's model can be applied globally and if so, how?
