The chapter introduces the concepts of hyper-hybridity and hyper-hybrid learning spaces by analysing a case of cross-national student collaboration in hybrid learning spaces. In hyper-hybrid learning spaces, multiple hybrid dimensions are at work at once to create opportunities for expanding and enhancing curriculum- and campus-based learning in different ways. The diffractive analysis in this study identified different hyper-hybrid entanglements in relation to the cross-national collaboration. On the one hand, the hyper-hybrid learning space became meaningful to students within the intersections of online/onsite and professional/personal, on the other hand, the complexity of the hyper-hybrid entanglements also caused confusion and frustration.
