HR 7322: A benchmark for stellar evolution

Research output: Contribution to conferenceConference abstract for conferenceResearch

HR 7322 is a bright F6 subgiant star in the Kepler field, which has been used as a comparison star in spectroscopy and photometry. HR 7322 has not been the subject of detailed studies before, but using interferometry and asteroseismology we have made an in-depth analysis of HR 7322. The derived stellar parameters are used in order to find the constraints needed for stellar modelling and thus to test -- and improve -- our current models of stellar structure and evolution.
