Abstract
Ensuring that a building can be safely evacuated in emergencies necessitates using various specialized simulators for prediction, including earthquake propagation, safe evacuation route planning, etc. However, there is no common vocabulary nor standardized approach for integrating diverse building simulation models, hindering their direct integration in an unified collaborative simulation. This is a crucial limitation because no single simulator alone can accurately predict evacuation scenarios in the building industry. We propose the concept of Building Simulation Identity Cards (BSIC) that characterizes and integrates properties of specialized simulation models and demonstrates its role in collaborative simulations for emergency evacuation.
