Corrigendum to’ Long-term outcomes of endovascular simple coiling versus neurosurgical clipping of unruptured intracranial aneurysms: A systematic review and meta-analysis’ [Journal of the Neurological Sciences Volume 422, 15 March 2021, 117338] (Journal of the Neurological Sciences (2021) 422, (S0022510X21000319), (10.1016/j.jns.2021.117338))

The authors regret for the following corrections. Table 1: The no. of patients has fallen out of the table column for three of the studies: • Pereira-Filho et al.: 40. • Pyysalo et al.: 38. • van Dijk et al.: 19. One of the references (Hagen et al.) in Table 1 is missing in the reference list. The full reference is: Hagen F, Maurer CJ, Berlis A. Endovascular treatment of unruptured MCA bifurcation aneurysms regardless of aneurysm morphology: Short- and long-term follow-up. American Journal of Neuroradiology. 2019;40(3):503–509. All references in Table 1 are all incorrectly numbered by 1 number, i.e., Gallas et al. [24] should be Gallas et al. [23], Gonda et al. [29] should be Gonda et al. [28], etc. Legend for Fig. 3: The legend says: “Unadjusted MRR and crude estimate from the 11 included studies. Rest = non-comparative coiling studies [23,34–36] (n = 4) versus non-comparative clipping studies [37–40] (n = 4).” The correct legend is: “Unadjusted MRR and crude estimate from the 13 included studies. Rest = non-comparative coiling studies [23, 29, 34-36, Hagen et al.] (n = 6) versus non-comparative clipping studies [37-40] (n = 4).” Please note that the corrections are only related to the table content and figure legend. The number of included studies in the analyses and the in-text references are correct, and the Corrigendum has no implications for the results and conclusions in the article. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. DOI of original article: <https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jns.2021.117338>.
