Description

International research project on Sakta traditions in South Asia. The project is done as a collaboration (Memorandum of Understanding) between the Faculty of Arts, Aarhus University, and Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, University of Oxford. Project outputs are an international research network and a number of conferences and publications. The first conference was held in Oxford (Somerville College) on 10-11 September 2011. Conference papers will be published as a volume by Oxford University Press or as a volume in the Routledge Hindu Studies Series. A follow-up conference is planned in Aarhus, Denmark, 2013.
