Project Details

Description

The aim is to foreground the “who” of surveillance - we are not just observed objects, but also subjects who experience and practice surveillance - thus opening new scientific territory. Three qualitative case studies focusing on healthcare and daily life investigate the experience of surveillance, technological affordances, and diverse forms of agency individuals use in response to surveillance.
