Description

Society and public authorities are pushing industries to reduce the overall negative environmental impact. During glass fiber manufacturing and many composite manufacturing processes, a significant amount of residue material is generated. Currently, this residue of glass fibers product is buried in a landfill, thus polluting our environment. This issue is complex, and the solution can be achieved only by bringing together industry, experts and scientists, as well as public authorities within the field – to exchange knowledge and discuss the possible solutions and necessary next steps for faster change from linear to circular economy within glass fiber and composite industry.
The project resulted with a database based on powerBI (see below) with entries companies from Baltic Sea region who are working glass fiber.
