Description and evaluation of five Danish VET policies from 1999 to 2024 in terms of the priority on excellence and inclusion.

Key findings

A shift has taken place from the 2000s where political priority was on inclusion in the Danish VET system to the 2010s and today, where focus is on excellencce and on making VET more attractive as an educational pathway.
