Gruppen samler en række økologer og andre forskere med understøttende ekspertise fra Institut for Bioscience med deres fælles viden om funktion og struktur af biotiske og abiotiske økosystem komponenter. Således skal vi kunne lave troværdige forudsigelser af økosystem processer og deres mulige feed-back til de globale økosystemers dynamik.
