Project Details
Description
For the use of spatially explicit population models in regulatory risk assessments it has to be shown that the landscapes on which the simulations are based, are representative for the region and the application for which the assessment is performed. Also the landscape used in the simulation must fit to the specific protection goal on which the risk assessment is based. Goal of the project is to lay the basis for developing an approach for systematically determining a suitable set of landscapes for specific assessments.
