Echolocating bats navigate and track their prey for capture via active sensing. To do so, they constantly need to update temporal and spectral features of their echolocation calls based on the receiving echoes and the acoustic properties of their surroundings.

The aim of this project is to investigate the effects of masking noise and distance to the target of interest on the echolocation calls of trained Daubenton's bats.
