Martin Roelsgaard Jakobsen (Recipient)

Every year, the Lundbeck Foundation awards a number of scholarships to particularly promising young scientists who are qualified to establish or develop a research team. We call these scholarships the Lundbeck Foundation Fellowships.

Each Fellowship receives funding of DKK 10 million over a period of five years.

A Lundbeck Foundation Fellow is a young scientist who has gained a PhD within the past eight years and is qualified to establish or develop his or her own biomedical science research team. Research must be either basic or applied, and the field of study must fall within the scope of the Foundation’s award strategy.

The Foundation wishes to attract both Danish and foreign researchers who are resident abroad and wish to move to – or back to – Denmark and continue their research here. Qualified applicants at Danish universities and university hospitals are also welcome to apply.
