Personal profile

Research

My research focus on atmospheric modeling, including chemical box model, regional Eulerian chemical transport model, and machine learning models. My expertise involves implementing data assimilation schemes, developing chemical mechanisms for mercury and halogens, and data analysis on air pollution and climate change. I have partcipated in projects on European air quality modeling, climate change impacts, and nitrogen deposition.

Profile

I have been working on atmospheric modelling since my PhD. My research involves cross-disciplinary work, combining chemistry, environmental science, mathematics, and computer science. I am particularly interested in physical and chemical processes in the atmosphere, and the interactions among air pollution, climate change, and health effects.

Cooperation and dissemination

Partner PI in one and is involved in multiple EU projects under Copernicus Atmospheric Monitoring Service (CAMS), other EU projects such as Horizon-2020 Exhaustion, and several Nordic projects. I have collaborated with researchers from various (Denmark, Norway, USA, China, etc.) countries.

Teaching

My teaching philosophy centers on identifying and addressing individual student challenges while emphasizing critical reflection. I have been teaching in atmospheric aerosols, general chemistry lecture and labs, and python courses at the nordic and US universities.
