Personal profile

Profile

As Chief Consultant at Aarhus University (2021-2024) and the Research Unit for General Practice (2025), I have served as FEMaLe project's scientific coordinator – an EU-funded project worth 45M DKK aiming at improving the detection and management of endometriosis using machine learning and artificial intelligence.

As a PhD Faculty Fellow at Aarhus University, I am also conducting part-time research (2022-2028) on video consultations in general practice, rooted in realist research approaches.

Cooperation and dissemination

My humanistic background in History and Film & Media studies enables me to communicate and collaborate effectively across geographic and cultural boundaries, as well as to apply critical thinking and creativity to complex challenges.

I am passionate about creating positive social impact through research and innovation, and I seek to foster partnerships between academia, industry, and civil society.

Job responsibilities

I have worked in the field of Digital Public Health research for over 10 years, developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve the health and well-being of diverse populations.

In recent years, I have also played an active role in bringing endometriosis and women’s health onto the agenda in Denmark, particularly through my contributions to the EU-funded FEMaLe and READI projects.
