PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION OF STUDENTS

2010-present I have been principle investigator since 2010, running projects on “Innate immune activation during HIV infection” and “Primary immunodeficiencies in infectious diseases” as Clinical Research Scientist funded by FSS. I have completed supervision of 3 Master of Science students, 3 Medical Research Year students, 1 Master of Molecular Medicine student, and 4 PhD students (all as main supervisor). I currently supervise 2 Medical Research year students, 1 master student, 4 PhD students, and 2 post docs.

RESEARCH EVALUATION

I have evaluated a total of 5 PhDs, including one in Germany.
Editorial board member for Frontiers of Immunology since 2017.

RESEARCH GRANTS

I have unbroken funding from FSS since 2008 (programs: “delestilling” and Project grant [DFF1]. I have running grants from The Novo Nordisk Foundation (2016-2018), Lundbeck Foundation (2015-2017), and AUFF (Starting Grant, 2016-2018). I am co-PI on a Horizon2020-funded ITN (EDGE), total funding 29 Mio DKK (personal part: 4.5 Mio DKK). I recently received a Lundbeck thematic grant of 10 Mio DKK (2018-2023), and most recently entered as research leader of a Grant (PASCAL-MID) from the Innovation Fund Denmark of 25 mio DKK.
