Tobias Dias is a researcher, writer, and editor based in Aarhus, Denmark. He is currently employed as a postdoctoral researcher in Art History at Aarhus University where he is working on the project A Nameless Science: Art, Expertise, and Infrastructure, funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. His writings have appeared in journals and magazines like e-flux journal, Art-Agenda, Texte zur Kunst, Periskop, ARKEN Bulletin, kritische berichte (forthcoming), and in several anthologies. At the moment he is completing a book manuscript on the prehistory of “artistic research”.

He is editor (together with Maja Bak Herrie) of the Nordic Journal of Aesthetics. He is also a member of the extradisciplinary collective Organ of the Autonomous Sciences.
