Profile

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Aarhus University Hospital, and the Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University. I hold a PhD in Health Science and a Master’s degree in Sports Science. My research primarily focuses on exercise as treatment for musculoskeletal disorders, particularly hip osteoarthritis. I have published in a top-5 medical journal and received the Young Investigator Award at the Young Athlete’s Hip Conference in Oxford.

Job responsibilities

I conduct research in exercise and rehabilitation in disease, especially muskuloskeletal disease, and I have experience leading multicenter randomized controlled clinical trials in exercise therapy and hip osteoarthritis.

Besides my research activities, I highly value teaching and giving lectures as well as supervising master's and bachelor's students.

I prioritise sharing my research through public media, including podcast, general-interest newspapers, live radio broadcast, and opinion pieces.
