Profile

I am generally interested in memory development in young children. My primary focus is on spontaneous memories, which are memories that come to mind almost out of the blue, and which can be defined as verbally produced, environmentally cued and socially unprompted. The aim of my PhD project is to investigate the meaning of cues in spontaneous memory retrieval in young children at about three years of age. This is examined in a diary study in the child's natural surroundings, and in our lab where we register the child's visual attention during spontaneous retrieval.
