Head of Department of Biomedicine at Aarhus University and Professor of Medical Genetics. Beside that I am Deputy Chairperson of the Danish Research Ethics Committee.
Job responsibilities
Strategic leadership with responsibility for personnel and economy. The vision is to establish the Department of Biomedicine as an internationally recognized lighthouse in biomedical research and education. To achieve this vision, the focus is on the following key areas:
· Better research with impact and visibility
· Educating graduates with strong knowledge and skills
· Strengthening the local life science environment
· Fostering a good, diverse, meaningful and collaborative working environment
