Personal profile

Research

I work as a clinical specialist at AUH. My work focuses on research into Parkinson's disease, where I coordinate and conduct both motor and cognitive tests and use different scanning methods to better understand the disease.

In our research, we also investigate the different ways Parkinson's disease can develop, known as the "brain-first" and "body-first" models. These models suggest that the disease can either start in the brain or in the body, which affects the progression and symptoms of the disease.
