Personal profile
Research
I want children to grow up and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. I contribute to this by researching the risk factors for violence against children. The results of my research aim to improve the prevention of violence and facilitate early detection when maltreatment begins.
Profile
My mission is to reduce the number of children exposed to abuse. I am a researcher in the field of abuse with a data-driven, epidemiological approach. I collaborate with others to include the individual and personal (qualitative) perspective. I use registry data and survey data to answer my hypotheses, and in several of my projects, the number of participants is in the thousands or even millions. I am a trained physician and have taught statistics and epidemiology at the university.
Job responsibilities
I work with the analysis of registry data, the development of new projects, and supervision and sparring with my many talented colleagues. Through skilled collaborators, I also use qualitative methods to ensure the applicability and understanding of my data. Additionally, I enjoy teaching statistics, epidemiology, or other subjects related to my research.
