I am employed as senior adviser at the Department of Engineering, Aarhus University, as part of the air quality group. My primary function is as researcher, but public sector consultancy is also a big part of my job. In my research I collaborate with several private companies. My research mainly concerns gas emissions (ammonia, odor and greenhouse gases) following manure field application. I mainly focus on gas emission mitigation technologies and the development of better measuring methods, with particular focus on making measurements better with more measurements in time, and cheaper to perform. The goal is that other parties than the universities can measure gas emissions following field application of manure, thus making it easier to test new technology.
