My research aims to better understand how dietary manipulation of protein, amino acids, nitrogen fractions, and energy in lactating dairy cow diets can be used as a tool to optimize ruminal and post-ruminal utilization efficiency of amino acids and nitrogen while minimizing excretions of excess nitrogen to the environment.
