Baggrund med forskning i collagenindholdet i livmoderhalsen med særlig fokus på cervixinsufficiens og præterm fødsel. Efterfølgende arbejdet med registerforskning ligeledes indenfor akut obstetrik. Med ansættelse på regionshospital er fokus nu primært på klinisk forskning og kvalitetsforskning.
