Personal profile

Research

My ethnographic research spans over curriculum reform, policy in practice, teacher agency and most recently entrepreneurship education. Inspired by entrepreneurship education I have developed an innovative teaching framework for change-making in Higher Education. At the same time my interest has brought a philosophical focus on the purpose and values of the university in the 21st century and what this means for the teaching of different disciplines.

Job responsibilities

As an Associate Professor at CED, I divide my time between teaching and Higher Education research. My teaching focuses on curriculum development and structuring content through innovative learning designs. I conduct PhD supervision courses for new and experienced supervisors. In addition, I provide individualised coaching and small group support for teachers to develop their teaching towards change-making practices. My appreciative inquiry approach is inspired by my ethnographic background.
