Shweta Agarwala
See relations at Aarhus University

Shweta Agarwala obtained her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in electronics engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore in 2008 and 2012 respectively. She then joined Energy Research Institute (ERI@N) at NTU as research fellow. Curiosity towards 3D printing led her to postdoctoral fellowship at Singapore Centre for 3D Printing, NTU, Singapore. Currently her research at Aarhus University focuses on printing electronic circuits on unconventional substrates (paper, textile, polymers and biomaterials). Combining multidisciplinary knowledge of electronics, nanotechnology, and 3D printing she aims to fabricate novel electronic, bioelectronic and hybrid structures that are flexible, conformal and compatible with living tissues. Her research roadmap encompasses new materials synthesis, investigating ink-substrate interactions, process control and printing circuit architectures for devices. She is IEEE senior member and vice-chair of IEEE Denmark women in engineering AG.

Broad Research Interests:

·         Printed Electronics for Flexible, stretchable and wearable devices

·         Bioelectronics

·         3D bioprinting and additive manufacturing
