Research
Silke Holmqvist specialises in contemporary Danish and European cultural history in the 20th century. She has a particular interest in popular culture, urban history, media studies and the treatment of ethnic minorities in mainstream cultures. In addition, she explores the history of experience and the dynamics between emotions and material environments.
