Profile
My research is within the field of Science and Technology Studies, focussing on the organisational and systemic factors of science promoting or hindering the responsible conduct of research. In my doctoral dissertation (defended in Februari 2020 at Radboud University) I studied research integrity and the scholarly peer review system. In my current work, I extend these to include aspects of research quality, open science and public trust in science. I am particularly interested in the relations and interactions between formal structures, social dynamics and individual research practices.
