Research

My area of research is children and adolescents' mental health with a focus on prevention, nursing and the environmental therapeutic work. My research consists mainly of epidemiological studies,  supplemented by qualitative studies. My research aims to help children and young people get the right help as early as possible so that they can thrive.

Profile

I am a researcher in child and adolescent psychiatry with a focus on care and prevention. I am currently investigating the use of coercion and ways to reduce it in adolescent psychiatry.

I have a background in nursing and public health and have many years of clinical experience in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Teaching

I am a lecturer on the specialist psychiatric nurse training programme and am the author of chapters on child and adolescent psychiatric nursing in textbooks.

Job responsibilities

I work with research and teaching in child and adolescent psychiatry with a special focus on nursing, prevention and reduction of coercion. I also contribute to the general development of the field through development projects and chapters in textbooks.
