We are more akin to art collectors, herbalists, shamans, conductors, typesetters or philatelists. In love with and with a love for all the playful artworks, species, spirits, melodies, sentences and variations in the world. The contents of this book is gathered, invoked, orchestrated, curated, designed and arranged from the vigorous and wondrous ecosystem that is the PUP community. For the last 2 ½ year the PUP community has steadily grown from the first Playful University Conference held in Aarhus in 2019 to the Playful University Platform with webinars, voices and videos. Little did I know, when I organised and hosted the conference in Aarhus, that the PUP adventure would turn out to be so longlived and grow into such a great fellowship. But now, here we stand on the cusp of 2022 with this book Playful Higher Education: Voices, Activities and Co-creations from the PUP Community. The book is an attest to the love for playfulness and higher education. It is a conglomerate of all the great scholars, wonderful practitioners and passionate participants from all over the world that has joined hands, hearts and minds in PUP for the last years.
