Profile
Research: My substantive focus is on how news media and political communication affect citizens. I am particularly interested in how incivility among politicians affects political trust and creates polarization among citizens. Methodologically, my work combines experimental research with real-world media content. I aim to create experiments that are more informative about real-world effects and limit researcher-degrees-of-freedom in the design process.
