Profile

I conduct research in management of production diseases in livestock herds - with special focus on animal welfare. Most of my work focuses on health and welfare in dairy cows, and most of my research takes place in commercial dairy herds. The overall aim of my research is to help farmers identify, treat and prevent production diseases - to benefit animal welfare, the climate, and the farmer's economy.
