Investigations on biological efficay, deposition of pesticides and spray drift from different application techniques. Equipment includes nozzles and other dosing equipment and spraying systems or prototypes of new application systems.
Another area is development of cultural strategies that minimize problem with annual grass weeds and volunteer grasses in the crop rotation.
Presently GEP manager in Denmark. The department is responsible – on behalf of the Danish Environmental Protection Agency – for the administration of the Danish GEP (Good Experimental Practice) approval system. GEP is implemented in order to assure a high quality in field experimentation and to give a documentation of all procedures used.
