I work with honey bees. The State bee lab is the Danish diagnosis facility for bee diseases, and
the coordination of treatment of American foulbrood, stonebrood, small hive beetles and
tropilaelaps mites. For the pest European foulbrood, tracheal mites and varroa mites advise for
the treatment is given to beekeepers. I am currently involved in scientific studies of viral
diseases in honey bees, varroa and honey bee genetics and vitality.
