Stefan Kjerkegaard, Associate Professor at Aarhus University (AU), Denmark, specializes in poetry, narratology, and literature-media-autobiography intersections. He directs the Literary Cultures program at Aarhus University and chairs the Nordic Council Literature Prize Adjudication Committee. Notable achievements include editing Poetics Today, receiving the 2016 Hogan Prize for an essay co-authored with Arnaud Schmitt in a/b Auto/Biography on Karl Ove Knausgaard, and leading the literary sociological project YoungLit (2023-2027) on literary system shifts, funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark.
