Profile

As a professor of cardiovascular epidemiology and trials, I conduct research in cardiovascular disease. In my work, I am particularly interested in the development, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease using registry-based studies and randomized clinical trials. I have a background in medicine and have experience with clinical cardiology, cardiovascular epidemiology, and trial methodology. My current roles include serving as a cardiologist at Regional Hospital Gødstrup and professor at Aarhus University.

Job responsibilities

My primary area of responsibility is cardiovascular research and clinical care, including epidemiological studies and randomized clinical trials. I am also involved in clinical guideline development, trial methodology, and medical education.
