Research
For the last 25 years, I have researched and published on the subjects of governance, politics, and political economy in East Africa, and in particular in Uganda. I have co-ordinated research projects, most recently, Political Settlements and Revenue Bargaining, involving Makerere University and REPOA (www.ps.au.dk/psrb). From 2025-2030 I will be leading a research programme on Local Food System Governance in the lake Victoria region, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
