Profile

Minna Pakanen is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication and Culture Department of Digital Design and Information Studies at Aarhus University. Her background is in design with Master’s degree in Industrial design, with a focus on product and interaction design. She holds a Ph.D from Information Processing Science at University of Oulu, Finland, on anticipated user experience evaluation with visual materials. Her research focuses on interaction design and design of wearable and on body technology as well as anticipated user experience evaluation with visual materials. She has also worked earlier with interaction design and understanding user experiences with augmented and virtual reality, internet of things, as well as design of wearable technology.
