Project description and research interests:
My project is named Contesting the Borderscape: Aesthetic Activisms and Utopian Hope in the Global Border Regime and investigates a literary current using literature and texts to resist and critique the present intensification of national border and border logics. I mainly focus on European and North American writers and border issues.
The project emerge from generel interest in the relationship between art/literature and politics and the role artistic expressions play a role in a political praxis - especially around subjects such as revolution, utopia, anti-nationalism and anti-racism.
