I am Professor and Head of Department at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Aarhus University, Denmark. I am currently leading and developing a new department as part of a major reorganisation of the Faculty of Technical Sciences. Before returning to academia, I worked internationally as a specialist, running a number of projects in the field between architectural design and Engineering, innovation, and product development. I am a frequent speaker at international workshops and conferences, where I discuss aspects of high performance and the value of design
