Scientific work

Structure and function of small arteries and their role in the development of high blood presure (hypertension).  Recent work: (a) Investigation of abnormal structure of small arteries in hypertension; (b) Drug treatments which can normalize the abnormal structure; (c) cellular and molecular mechanisms which determine small artery structure.

 

PhD training

International development of PhD training through the ORPHEUS (Organisation for PhD education in biomedicine and health sciences in the European system) network.
