Michael Christensen's research has primarily focussed on monetary theory and policy, interest rate determination, credibility in monetary policy, investment theory, benchmarking, mutual funds and hedge funds, delegated portfolio management and performance evaluation.
Michael Christensen is an associate professor at Department of Economics and Business Economics, Aarhus University. He holds a M.Sc. in Economics from Aarhus University (1985) and a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Southampton (1987).
Michael Christensen is a board member of Hans Jensen Holding, and he established the companies MC Ejendomme in 2001 and RIMACO in 2010.
Michael Christensen teaches Economics and Personal Finance at the bachelor programmes in economics. Previously, he has taught a number of courses within finance and economics including Financial Markets, Behavioral Finance, Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, International Financial Markets and Portfolio Theory.
Michael Christensen is Director of Studies, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD).
