Personal profile

Profile

As a Special Consultant at the National Centre for Register-based Research I work with data management in SAS.  I am responsible for creating quality register information. I have a Master’s degree in Statistics, and I have more than 20 years of experience at Aarhus University.

Cooperation and dissemination

I collaborate with researchers at The Danish National Archives and at Department of Computer Science at University of Copenhagen on creating the Danish Multi Generation Register.

Job responsibilities

My present primary area of responsibility is creating the Danish Multi Generation Register where information in the Danish Civil Registration System (CRS) is enriched with information from Parish Registers with the purpose of creating family relations. My job is to link individuals correctly between CRS and the church books.
I also create a Residence Database with information on place of residence over time for persons in CRS, and I add geographical coordinates for addresses in Denmark.
